  • The WA Branch is supported by a Branch Management Committee elected by the Branch membership. 

    The Branch’s key role is to provide local support for AASW members through a range of activities that enable members to network, develop practice skills and organise around social justice issues. 

    World Social Work Day Event

    Come celebrate World Social Work Day over a delicious buffet style breakfast overlooking the Swan River listening to a thought provoking talk on the WSWD theme of Strengthening Intergenerational Solidarity for Ending Wellbeing.

    Join us for a thought-provoking start to World Social Work Day event as we explore the theme of “Strengthening Intergenerational Solidarity for Enduring Wellbeing” through the lenses of disability, grief and loss, and education. This unique breakfast gathering will feature three experienced social workers, Jodyne GreigLaura Butshiire and Danielle Kovac, with a collective 50 years of practice, sharing insights from their personal journeys, professional reflections, and real-life anecdotes.
