About | This study is looking at what mental health practitioners know about suicide and self-harm, what are their attitudes towards clients who present with suicide and self-harm behaviours, and what are their perceptions of online suicide prevention. The purpose is to gain a better understanding of the enablers and barriers to working with clients with lived experiences of suicidality and/or self-harm. It is hoped that findings can be used to increase the confidence of social workers, psychologists, and counsellors in working with these high-risk client groups. |
