The NT Branch is supported by a Branch Management Committee elected by the Branch membership.
The Branch’s key role is to provide local support for AASW members through a range of activities that enable members to network, develop practice skills and organise around social justice issues.
Mary Moylan Award Evening 21 March 2025
Join the AASW NT Branch as we present the Mary Moylan NT Social Worker of the Year Award.
This award honours the memory of Mary Moylan, a dedicated and inspiring NT Social Worker.
This will be an evening of networking and celebration that will acknowledge all nominees and the dedication and inspiring contributions of social workers in the Northern Territory.
Presenters will be announced closer to the date. Don’t miss what promises to be a fantastic event!
Please consider nominating a Social Worker whose exemplary contribution has made a difference in their field of practice. For details about the selection criteria and nomination form please email: [email protected]. The deadline for nominations is 11 February 2025 at 5.00 pm (ACST).
Registration is via MyAASW: Event Information
When: 21 March 2025
Time: 6.00 pm – 8.30 pm (ACST)
Venue: Travelodge Darwin City, Ballroom, 64 Cavenagh Street, Darwin AND online via Zoom (login details will be emailed the day of the event)
Registrations close 18 March 2025 at 2.00 pm (ACST).
The AASW is pleased to subsidise the cost of this event for members.
BMC Networking Events
Join the NT Branch Management Committee for their 2025 networking events celebrating successes.
This is an opportunity for social workers working in a variety of fields across the Government, Non-Government and Private sectors to come together and share information and resources.
Dates: 7 March, 6 June, 5 September and 5 December
