Schedule of Fees and Refund Policy
- For each Application type, a fee exists. Please refer to the schedule of fees on the website.
- GST stands for Goods and Services Tax; this is applicable to any goods and services transaction made within Australia. Migration Agents or 3rd Parties who act on behalf of applicants and are located in Australia despite their client living outside Australia, must pay GST.
- Fees are non-refundable and will be charged in Australian dollars. Please ensure you have the correct amount of funds available in your account before processing payment.
- Your application cannot be submitted until payment has been processed. Once payment has been made, you will receive a receipt email from the AASW confirming payment. The receipt can be used for tax purposes where applicable.
- All applicants as part of completing their application, will sign 3 different Declarations one which relates to the payment of the scheduled fee. The following is as to the MEA Application Declaration:
- I agree to the payment of fees as outlined on the payment page
- I acknowledge that if any of the information provided is found to be fraudulent or no explanation provided by the applicant that is acceptable, then the application will be rejected, and no refund will occur. Additionally, no new application will be able to be lodged
- I acknowledge that if I am unsuccessful (after assessment) that I can apply for a Re-assessment (fee applies), or an Internal Review (fee applies), following this an External Appeal (fee applies) if and only if, there are grounds for an internal review or external appeal. Note that the only ground for an Internal Review and External Appeal is that the assessor did not assess the material provided correctly. Additional/new information is not grounds for an Internal Review or an External Appeal.
- If I have selected a Skilled Employment Assessment as part of an Eligibility for employment/migration assessment and the skilled employment assessment is unable to proceed due to an unsuccessful eligibility for migration/employment assessment, that the fee for the skilled employment assessment will be refunded less an administration fee of AUD $100 (or $110 inclusive of GST if correspondence is within Australia).
