Jane Miller AM

President of the University of Melbourne Social Work Alumni Association, she has recently completed her doctorate on the history of social work education in Melbourne between 1920 and 1960. In 2015 was awared the AM in the Queen's Birthday Honours for her significant service to the community. Jane has had an extensive and diverse career, of note for 14 years prior to retiring in 2007, Jane was the Chief Social Worker at Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne.

Professor Lesley Chenoweth AO Since 2006 Lesley has been the Inaugural Professor of Social Work at Griffith University and since 2011, the Head of the University’s Logan campus. From 2007-2009 she was the Chief Investigator of the international 1000 Voices Project which gathered the life narratives of people with disabilities in 10 countries. Lesley has published widely in Australia and internationally and regularly presents her work at national and international conferences. With considerable experience in policy, programs and practice, she is frequently asked to advise federal and state government agencies. In 2015 Lesley was named an Officer of the Order of Australia for her distinguished service to higher education

Dr Peter Munn

CEO of Centacare Catholic Country SA. The agency covers a large part of South Australia and currently there are over 100 staff across the various communities where Centacare is based. He taught social work at the Whyalla Campus of the University of SA for 22 years and is an Adjunct Associate Professor of UniSA. Peter has had a long term commitment to rural communities which is evidenced by having lived with his family in Whyalla for several decades. He is well known throughout Australia for his research on rural social work, leadership and rural community development.

Associate Professor Anthony Schembri CEO of the St Vincent’s Health Network Sydney and has extensive experience in health services management. Anthony holds appointment as Board Director for the Garvan Institute of Medical Research, Board Director of the Eastern and Central Sydney Primary Health Network, Board Director the St Vincent’s Curran Foundation and Co-Chair of Australian Catholic University/St Vincent’s Nursing Research Institute
