Living with a person with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) can come with different challenges in various areas of life including navigating interpersonal relationship, being able to understand demands placed by the loved ones, recognising the triggers leading to feelings of rejection and abandonment and managing emotional distress that some of those interactions create.
The webinar will provide an opportunity to unpack some of those challenges and understand them through the context of clinical knowledge of the characteristics of the Borderline Personality Disorder when working with families and carers of clients with BPD diagnosis.
Who should register?
The training is catered to emerging and evolving social workers/allied health professionals with introductory level of experience working with clients with Borderline Personality Disorder and their families. This webinar will provide foundational knowledge about the BPD diagnosis and some practical skills when navigating challenges working both with the client and their families.
