Live Online Workshop
Capability levels: Emerging; Evolving
Participants in this workshop will learn about the importance of age-appropriate interventions and early intervention for different age ranges. We will look at what emerging research suggests for new and innovative ways of supporting individual survivors of all ages post a traumatic incident.
Who should attend?
This workshop is designed to provide emerging and evolving Social Workers with an overview of what interventions are appropriate for each client cohort, to best help them deal with people who have been impacted by disasters and major traumatic events.
This workshop will not be recorded.
Learning Outcomes
Attendees at each workshop will understand the impact of major disasters on survivors and be able to identify early indicators of trauma response.
Attendees at this workshop will be able to identify age-appropriate interventions and understanding of a range of new and innovative ways of supporting individuals after a traumatic incident.
