Andrew McKenzie, Principal Lawyer with Maurice Blackburn Lawyers, will present this webinar and share his insights into obtaining better health outcomes for clients through the CTP and WorkCover schemes in Queensland.
Andrew will discuss some experiences and examples in relation to rehabilitation requests. He will share information about the process for social work clients going through the CTP and WorkCover claims process, and how you can support your clients.
Another important aspect that will be covered are the various financial outcomes that will support client treatment into the future.
About the presenter
Andrew McKenzie is a Principal Lawyer with Maurice Blackburn Lawyers. He has experience advising social workers on various matters and delivers advice to AASW members via our Legal Advice service.
Andrew has been listed by the prestigious Doyle's Guide as a lawyer of note. He has spent over 30 years working in plaintiff law firms, including over 25 years as a qualified lawyer. He practices exclusively in civil law and has appeared on behalf of his clients in just about every court and tribunal in Queensland. Andrew is dedicated to social justice and serving the Queensland community.
He works closely with many peak allied health organisations on education and policy.
