Donna will be speaking about Narrative Therapy in Schools, working with young people with Neurodiversity

This presentation explores how Narrative Therapy can be used to support neurodiverse students in school settings. It will cover:

1. Understanding Neurodiversity

2. Applying Narrative Therapy

3. Supporting Emotional Regulation in Schools

4. Bridging School and Home

Donna McCormack holds a BA (Hons) in Social Care and a Master’s in Narrative Therapy, working across Ireland, New Zealand, and Australia. Donna is passionate about empowering individuals and families through person-centered therapy, and strengths-based approaches into her practice utilising evidence-based interventions. With 15 years of experience supporting young people and families, specialising in narrative therapy, trauma-focused approaches, and understanding neurodiversity. Donna has also developed and facilitated parenting groups exploring neurodiversity. Donna has extensive experience in private practice, family courts, EAP working closely with Child Safety supporting vulnerable young people to access the right support and residential care and education providing therapeutic support for complex trauma.
