The QLD Branch welcomes you to a breakfast to celebrate World Social Work Day 2025 with guest speaker Ros Darracott, Associate Professor SWHS, UniSQa.
Ros is interested in research that is contextually responsive to the complex lived experiences of structurally disadvantaged people. She is an active member of her local eco-social work group and is keen to explore how direct social work can better incorporate a climate aware lense.
Ros will speak on "Growing connections: Connections and collective action to address the environmental challenges we face at work?"
