About the presenters –
Adrian Curtis is the Principal Lawyer and Practice Leader of the Australian Family Lawyers Canberra office. Adrian is a highly accomplished lawyer specializing in family law, holding a Juris Doctor from the University of Canberra and a Bachelor of Social Science from the University of Newcastle.
He recently completed a Master of Applied Law with a Family Law Major in December 2022 and was recognized as a Rising Star by Australasian Lawyer in 2023. Adrian's expertise spans Parenting, Property, Care and Protection matters, alongside Appeals and Enforcement proceedings.
Adrian is also known for his advocacy and mediation skills.
Sue Foote is the Principal Lawyer and Practice Leader of the Watts McCray Lawyers North Shore office. She specialises in family law, handling issues such as parenting, property, child support, and divorce, and regularly appears in the Family and Federal Circuit Courts, as well as Local and District Courts for various matters.
Sue is committed to finding the best outcomes for clients through negotiation, mediation, or litigation, and is known for her empathetic and tenacious approach.
Before her admission, Sue gained valuable experience as a Clerk of Chambers and research assistant to barristers.
