Branch – NSW

The NSW Branch is supported by a Branch Management Committee elected by the Branch membership.

The Branch’s key role is to provide local support for AASW members through a range of activities that enable members to network, develop practice skills and organise around social justice issues.

NSW Northern Rivers Practice Group Event

Let’s talk about Greenwashing and the Ethics of Care in the world of Disability from a SW student perspective. Join the NSW Northern Rivers Practice Group for a presentation from Jessica Nettle and Catherine Graeme-Cook.

There will be a research presentation from Jessica about her project: The intersection of greenwashing and social inequity.

And a presentation from Catherine about her Honours project: Exploring the relational experience of Australians with disabilities from CALD backgrounds through an ethics of care lens; a narrative analysis of the Disability Royal Commission submissions.
