About

There is limited Australian social work research about suicide amongst secondary school young people. This study aims to understand the significant role of school social work in responding to youth suicide within the most at-risk Australian youth populations, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and LGBTIQA+ young people, those living in rural or remote areas, young refugees and asylum seekers, those who have been connected to the statutory care or justice systems, young people with experience of mental illness or substance abuse issues, and other at-risk youth populations.
