Presenter details
Dr Romaniuk is a senior clinical psychologist who holds Honorary and Adjunct Senior Lecturer positions at the University of Queensland (UQ) and the University of Southern Queensland (USQ), respectively and is a Visiting Research Fellow at Queensland University of Technology (QUT).
She is currently Principal Investigator on seven research projects focused on veteran mental health and has been the listed Principal Investigator or Investigator on research projects that have collectively received over $7 million in funding to date.
In addition to research, Dr. Romaniuk has worked as a therapist since 2009 in a variety of settings, including public and private hospitals, community government services, NGOs, and private practice. For the past seven years, her practice has focused on those who have experienced trauma and specifically on the assessment and treatment of current and former Australian Defence Force personnel suffering PTSD and associated comorbidities.
